Lorenzo vows to keep trying
Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo has vowed to try his best to reel in championship leader and teammate Valentino Rossi over the last three races on the MotoGP calendar. With just 75 possible points available in the remainder of the season, Lorenzo trails the legendary Italian by 18 points, following last weekend's Japanese MotoGP at Motegi. At the Twin Ring circuit, Lorenzo initially set the pace, but as the track dried out in the latter half of the race, the Spaniard found it more and more difficult to keep the chasing pack behind him and eventually finished in third place, behind eventual winner Dani Pedrosa and Rossi.
