MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez eased himself into the first day of the final pre-season test in Qatar, posting the third fastest time overall behind Ducati pair Andrea Iannone and Andrea Dovizioso. Marquez set the quickest time of those riders unable to use the soft Bridgestone rubber available to Open class and Factory II riders, lapping in 1m 55.554s, 0.289s down on Iannone.
