Aprilia and Melandri agree to part ways
– Aprilia Racing and Marco Melandri have parted ways by mutual consent with immediate effect, the Italian company announced on Wednesday.Melandri returned to MotoGP with Aprilia for 2015, after a four-year spell in the Superbike World Championship, during which he won 19 races.But Melandri has struggled so far this season, and sits at the bottom of the MotoGP championship standings as one of only two riders without a point."Aprilia Racing and Marco Melandri have reached an agreement by mutual consent to terminate the contractual obligations between Marco Melandri and Aprilia Racing," read a statement from the team."Aprilia Racing wishes Marco Melandri all the best in...
