Rabat maintains lead in competitive Moto2 session
Tito Rabat narrowly held onto his advantage in the afternoon's Moto2 session with the reigning world champion outpacing Thomas Luthi and a resurgent Luis Salom by less than one tenth of a second at Le Mans. Rabat, who is chasing his first win at the French track, set the pace in both sessions and showed great consistency on his longer runs so he'll be genuine contender on Sunday. Johann Zarco, the championship leader, was fourth fastest with Sam Lowes fifth but only three tenths off the pace of Rabat.
