A rain storm shortly after 4pm looks set to confirm Valentino Rossi as fastest during the opening day of the second official MotoGP test of 2015. The Italian has led the timesheets for most of the day, which marks the debut of the new Yamaha gearbox, featuring seamless downshifts as well as upshifts, like the Honda. Monday also saw the track debut of the Ducati GP15. Factory riders Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone each had one of the new bikes available alongside the previous GP14.3.
