Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez captured pole position for the Austin MotoGP in breath-taking style despite being forced to switch to his number two bike. The defending premier class world champion parked his RC213V on the start/finish straight after a warning light flashed up on the dashboard of the machine and the 22-year-old shut down the engine as a safety precaution.
