Ducati says Lorenzo knows its bike is competitive
Ducati boss Paolo Ciabatti insists that Jorge Lorenzo is fully aware that the lack of results from Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone are not a reflection of the competitiveness of its MotoGP bike. Dovizioso is ninth in the standings, 111 points behind leader Marc Marquez, while Iannone is eighth, 107 points behind the Spaniard. Up until now, between them they have managed four podiums (two each), a bounty that is far from the expectations generated during the pre-season.
