Laverty moving towards a MotoGP deal for 2017

Aspar Ducati’s Eugene Laverty has said he is moving towards a MotoGP deal for the 2017 season which will more than likely make some moves in the World Superbike paddock happen sooner rather than later. Speaking in a video Q&A (click here to watch) at the Red Bull Ring after the test today, Laverty said he wants to have a new deal signed and sealed when the MotoGP circus goes back to Austria for the race in a couple of weeks. “It’s still not fixed. After this test things should move more quickly. I want to get signed soon and come back here for the race with a contract already signed. That is my intention,” he said.
