My hand will be fine - Lorenzo

Jorge Lorenzo has insisted that the hand injury he sustained on Friday will not affect his ability to race on Sunday. Lorenzo was lucky to escape with a sprained right ankle and a bruised hand and wrist after crashing on Turn 11, which is more commonly known as ‘The Waterfall’, when rain began falling in the first free practice. Having suffered a huge crash, the reigning MotoGP champion was cautious heading into the second free practice session and could only muster up a time that put him in 16th place overall.
