Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez heads to this weekend's round nine of MotoGP's German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring having not lost at the circuit since a 125cc race in 2009. Marquez sits at the top of the MotoGP rider standings with 145 points, well ahead of second-placed Movistar Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo on 121 points. Such is the 23-year-old's dominance almost midway through the season that if he wins in Germany he can afford not to score points and still be leading the championship going into the summer break.
