Aleix Espargaro joins Aprilia
Team Suzuki Ecstar rider Aleix Espargaro has confirmed that he will be joining the Aprilia Racing Team for the 2017 MotoGP season. The Spanish rider signed a two-year contract that will see him racing for Aprilia until the end of the 2018 season. He will partner Sam Lowes after Stefan Bradl and Alvaro Bautista were replaced. Espargaro took to social media to confirm the news tweeting "Thanks to @ApriliaOfficial & @GresiniRacing to trust in me for 2017-2018 seasons! I will work very hard to put the RS-GP in the top!" In the current MotoGP standings, Espargaro is ninth with 49 points after eight races while at the top is Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez on 145 points. The confirmed...
