MotoGP: Rins confirmed at Suzuki for 2017
Alex Rins, will, as MCN reported weeks ago, join the factory Suzuki MotoGP team for 2017 and 2018, replacing fellow Spaniard Maverick Viñales at the team for the next two years. Rins is believed to have fought hard for the chance at a factory seat, reportedly turning down offers from Tech 3 Yamaha among others in his quest for a manufacturer-backed seat.
