Lorenzo won't take his team to Ducati

Reigning MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo will only retain one member of his current team for his 2017 move from Yamaha to Ducati, Motorsport.com has learned. The majority of Lorenzo's technical team, that has been with him at Yamaha since he made his debut in MotoGP in 2008, will not be following the Spaniard to Ducati. The Italian squad, which chose the Lorenzo as the cornerstone for its mid-term project, attempted to hire Ramon Forcada, who has been Yamaha's chief mechanic for many years.
