Lorenzo feared injury after being hit by Iannone

Jorge Lorenzo feared he was injured immediately after being taken out of the Catalan Grand Prix by Andrea Iannone in the crash that ended both riders' races. The pair collided at Turn 10 midway through the Barcelona race, as Iannone made a lunge to the inside and hit the back of Lorenzo’s bike, causing both to tumble. Addressing the media after the race, the reigning champion admitted he feared he may have broken his hip or collarbone, such was the severity of the impact with the tarmac run-off. He was also annoyed that Iannone, who will start the next race at Assen from last as punishment for causing the incident, didn’t think to apologise at the scene of the crash. “I don’t know...
