Valentino Rossi set the pace in Sunday morning's warm-up session for the Catalan Grand Prix, beating rival Marc Marquez by 0.142s. Rossi's teammate Jorge Lorenzo headed the timesheets at the halfway stage before the Italian went quicker with a time of 1m45.318s. Lorezno dropped to fourth when Honda's Marc Marquez put himself upto second with Ducati's Andrea Innone slotting in at third. Pol Espargaro in fifth ended as the best among the satellite riders as brother Aleix in his Suzuki ended just behind him at sixth.
