Vinales: Podium for Suzuki won’t impact decision on future

Maverick Vinales says the decision about his MotoGP future is “getting clearer with each day” after taking Suzuki’s first podium finish since 2008 at Le Mans today. Vinales finished third in the French Grand Prix, his first-ever podium finish in MotoGP, but only after both works Ducatis and Honda’s Marc Marquez crashed out in front of him. It is Suzuki’s first MotoGP podium since Loris Capirossi at Brno in 2008. Vinales is one of the favourites to join Yamaha next year, to replace Ducati-bound Jorge Lorenzo – who won today's race.
