Team Suzuki Ecstar rider Maverick Vinales confirms that joining Yamaha next season does have its positives if given the option, but says he would have to think long and hard about it. In the MotoGP standings after three races, Vinales is in eighth spot on 21 points having picked up a sixth place in Qatar a fourth last time out in Austin. Leading the standings is Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez with 66 points.
