Ducati sporting director Paolo Ciabatti says reigning MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo's agreement to move from Yamaha to Ducati from 2017 was prompt. On Monday, Yamaha announced that Lorenzo's eight-year partnership was ending at the end of the current season and he would be joining Ducati on a two-year-deal from 2017.
