Phillip Island extends MotoGP deal to 2026

– The Victoria State Government has confirmed that it has secured the future of MotoGP's Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island until at least 2026.Phillip Island has been a mainstay on the MotoGP calendar since it joined the roster in 1997 and government officials have now given its backing to the event for the next decade.The venue will also continue to host the World Superbike Championship until 2027."Our motorsports events at Phillip Island are flagship dates on our calendar, and they're going nowhere," said John Eren, Minister for Tourism and Major Events."Phillip Island will remain at the centre of world motorsport for many years to come."These events...
