Márquez secures pole position in Austin

– Marc Márquez claimed his fourth successive pole position at the Circuit of the Americas and 32nd of his MotoGP career after beating Jorge Lorenzo in qualifying.Lorenzo initially went quickest in the 15 minute session with a time of 2:03.613 before Márquez responded with a lap of 2:03.188.Lorenzo moved to within 0.069s of Márquez's time but was unable to catch his Honda rival, who secured pole position, three years after his maiden Saturday success in the premier class.Valentino Rossi will round out the front row of the grid after placing third, almost half a second down on Márquez.Andrea Iannone qualified in fourth place but will be relegated to seventh as a result of the...
