Smith signs two-year KTM factory deal

– Bradley Smith will front KTM's factory team when the manufacturer competes in MotoGP next year, it was confirmed ahead of Sunday's 2016 season-opener in Qatar.Smith, 25, revealed last week that he would not remain with Tech 3 into next year, ending a five-year association with the French team, of which three of them have been spent in the top class.Smith will now move to KTM in 2017 after signing a two-year deal with the manufacturer, having previously spoken of his desire to join a factory team.Smith finished sixth in last year's championship with a best finish of second at Misano.
