Rider dies in Qatar GP support race

– A rider has died following an accident in a support race for the Qatar Grand Prix.Tunisian rider Taoufik Gattouchi, 49, was involved in a "multi-rider incident" at Losail's Turn 3 during the Losail 600 Cup race on Friday, bringing out the red flags after 10 of 15 planned laps."The race was red flagged on Lap 10 of 15 following a multi-rider incident at Turn 3 and Mr Gattouchi (Number 67) received immediate trackside medical attention," read a statement."The 49-year-old was immediately transported by air ambulance to the Hamad Hospital in Doha where resuscitation continued.
