Rossi expecting competitive MotoGP opener
– Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi believes that several riders will be in contention at the front end of the grid when the MotoGP season begins in Qatar in two weeks.Rossi was fifth fast overall during the final test at Losail, with less than a second covering 13 riders, albeit with second-placed Scott Redding 0.5s adrift of the dominant Jorge Lorenzo.Rossi, runner-up in the championship for the last two years, is confident that Yamaha is in the mix, but expects to face competition."In the end I'm quite happy," he said.
