Redding: P2 time came from electronics improvements
Scott Redding has put the impressive lap time that left him P2 overall at the final pre-season test of the winter down to continuing advances made by him and the Pramac Ducati squad with the control electronics system. Working to fine tune the system on the final day of testing ahead of the opening race in two weeks’ time, Redding says the progress is what allowed him to push for the lap time that left him second only to reigning world champion Jorge Lorenzo. “Progress on the electrics is the main reason we were so fast on the used tyre.
