Espargaro positive despite late crash

After a tepid opening to the session, Aleix Espargaro ended the first day of MotoGP testing in Qatar in a 'positive' frame of mind, despite enduring a late fall, which resulted in an injured back. The Spaniard fell later on Wednesday evening as track temperatures decreased, high-siding out and injuring his back, which prematurely ended his day. With a severly disappointing test in Phillip Island behind him, Espargaro finished eleventh overall, just behind Marc Marquez and 1.1 seconds off Jorge Lorenzo's fastest time of the session. “This has been another hard day, but once again I feel positive,” began Espargaro, who was 0.2s slower than his fastest race lap from 2015 on Wednesday....
