Lowes riding high as Jerez test commences

Sam Lowes was consistently involved at the sharp end during day one of the Jerez Moto2 test in Spain on Wednesday as the Team Federal Oil Gresini rider finished second fastest on the time sheets. Lowes was only 0.018s behind Thomas Luthi at the top following his best lap on the Kalex in 1m 42.389s.
