Danilo Petrucci to miss Qatar test after fracturing right-hand in crash

Pramac rider Danilo Petrucci will miss the final MotoGP pre-season test after fracturing his right-hand on the final day of the Phillip Island test. The Italian was just one of ten riders to crash on Friday, though he was the only one to come away injured. He was immediately taken to the circuit's medical centre where he was diagnosed with a fractured second, third and fourth metacarpal in his right-hand. He was later transferred to a hospital in Melbourne for further analysis. The injury will rule him out of the final pre-season test in Doha, Qatar, but it isn't clear if he will be able to start the season at the same venue on March 20.
