Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi says he will start the new season using the 'standard' Yamaha, similar to his 2015 bike after finishing the penultimate MotoGP pre-season test at Phillip Island on Friday. After combining the times from the two days of testing, Rossi and teammate Jorge Lorenzo finished sixth and fourth overall respectively. In an interview afterwards, Rossi said he preferred the 2015 bike because he was faster when using it. “I prefer the 2015 bike because I'm faster, but especially when I ride I feel better.
