‘Michelins feeling very different’
Valentino Rossi said he slowly came to terms with the feeling offered by Michelin's dry tyres on a rainy opening day of MotoGP testing at Phillip Island. Like all of his other main rivals, Rossi's progress was severely hampered by the unpredictable weather at the seaside venue on Wednesday. He ended up finishing sixth fastest, 1.3 seconds behind pacesetter Danilo Petrucci.
