Rossi frustrated with lack of laps

FRUSTRATION for Valentino Rossi and the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team as they were unable to begin any testing schedules at Phillip Island due to the weather conditions.  The first day of the Phillip Island MotoGP test has proved challenging for all riders and teams due to the intermittent changes in weather. After two hours of waiting for the weather to improve, Rossi ventured out of his pit box to complete several laps in the wet. Plans to test the new Michelin tyres at the demanding Phillip Island track had to be put aside due to the weather, so Rossi and his Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team used the time to assess when the new intermediate tyre may be of use in the future.
