Pedrosa: New engine not a big difference from before

Perhaps the most telling answer of the second day of MotoGP testing at Sepang came from Dani Pedrosa. Asked to identify the area in which Honda suffers most with the 2016 Magneti Marelli software, the Spaniard replied, 'everywhere.' Along with enduring a fast fall at turn five, which he later blamed on a cold front tyre, and ending the day a distant twelfth on the timesheets, Pedrosa came to realise that HRC's new 'evo' spec engine had “no big difference” on the overly aggressive version he tested in the autumn of 2015. Pedrosa and his crew worked through various changes while solely using the new engine but again found that progress was stuttering. Some changes worked, others didn't....
