Ireland's Eugene Laverty escaped with ligament and tissue damage to his wrist following a big spill on day one of the Sepang MotoGP Test. Initial reports suggested the Power Electronics Aspar Ducati rider may have suffered a broken wrist and the 29-year-old was relieved the injury was not worse after recently recovering from a broken wrist sustained in a spill at the Valencia test last November.
