Stoner makes Ducati test comeback
– Double MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner has completed a private test for Ducati on Saturday, his first since re-joining the Italian manufacturer.Stoner spent four years with Ducati in MotoGP, claiming the 2007 World Championship and racking up 23 wins, before he switched to Honda at the start of the 2011 campaign.Stoner retired at the end of 2012 though remained with Honda in a test capacity and made a return to racing at the Suzuka 8 Hours last year, though sustained injuries when he crashed due to a stuck throttle.Stoner came close to a MotoGP return in 2015 after proposing to replace the injured Dani Pedrosa, though Honda ultimately selected test rider Hiroshi Aoyama to...
