De Puniet, Lüthi join KTM test team

– KTM has confirmed that it has added Randy de Puniet and Thomas Lüthi as test riders as it ramps up its preparations ahead of its MotoGP bow in 2017.The manufacturer has already debuted its KTM RC16 machine in the hands of Alex Hofmann, with Mika Kallio having also conducted outings on the bike.De Puniet spent eight years in MotoGP for Kawasaki, LCR, Pramac and Aspar, before acting as a test rider for Suzuki, switching to the World Superbike Championship in 2015.Lüthi, the 2005 125cc champion, has been in the second tier of racing since 2007, with a best of fourth overall in 2010, 2012 and 2014.KTM will continue to carry out extensive testing throughout the year ahead of its...
