Rossi's future depends on early showing

Movistar Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi says he would love to stay on at Yamaha after 2016 but only if he is competitive from the word go in the upcoming MotoGP campaign. The 36-year-old Rossi, who lost out on winning the 2015 world championship in the last race of the season to teammate Jorge Lorenzo, told UK broadcaster BT Sport that he wanted to continue racing with Yamaha until he retired. "In my mind I want to continue, make another contract and stay with Yamaha until the end of my career. "My future in MotoGP will depend very much on this season, from the first races. "If I can be competitive, and I can fight for the podium every weekend, I want to continue." 2016...
