Melandri considers cars switch as MV Agusta wait continues

Marco Melandri has admitted he could turn his hand to car racing in 2016, as uncertainty continues to surround whether the MV Agusta World Superbike team can accommodate him. The 33-year-old Italian, who raced for Aprilia MotoGP squad in the early part of 2015 before quitting mid-season, has been linked to a WSBK return next year with MV Agusta, even testing for the Forward Racing-run operation last month at Jerez. But with the team yet to confirm it will expand to a second bike, Leon Camier already confirmed as its first rider, and no other desirable top-level seats available, Melandri said talks have been held about turning his focus to racing on four wheels. “It’s not up to me,”...
