Lorenzo hits out at former sponsor Sector
MotoGP world champion Jorge Lorenzo has hit out at his former sponsor Sector, suggesting the Italian firm tried to use the late-season controversies to its advantage. Sector, an Italian watch manufacturer, announced ahead of the Valencia finale that it was ending in sponsorship deal with Lorenzo, saying the events leading to the championship decider no longer represented the values that it represented. "Sector No Limits has always been an expression of the values of sportsmanship, challenge, healthy competition and integrity," the company's official statement read.
