Controversy made Marquez 'nervous'

Marc Marquez has said that he felt 'nervous' heading into the season finale at Valencia as he knew that if he didn't win the race he would be accused of helping Jorge Lorenzo claim the title. Following his controversial coming together with Valentino Rossi in Malaysia after accusations from the Italian that he was trying to slow Rossi in Australia in order to further Lorenzo's title cause, the spotlight was on Marquez in Valencia. The Spaniard failed to claim victory, finishing in second behind Lorenzo who secured the World Championship.
