Rossi: Podium finish “impossible” from back of the grid

MotoGP title contender Valentino Rossi has said it’s “impossible” for him to finish on the podium in the championship-deciding finale at Valencia from his enforced back-of-the-grid start. Rossi, who shrugged off his crash in qualifying on Saturday afternoon, believes that fourth is the best position he can achieve on Sunday. When asked by BT Sport where he thinks he can finish, Rossi replied: “Difficult to say. I think, starting from last, the first three are quite impossible. “I think we are seven, eight bikes fighting for fourth position.
