FIM president promises 2016 "changes" to prevent Rossi/Marquez repeat

FIM president Vito Ippolito has issued a statement addressed to the MotoGP grid, promising a change of approach for 2016 to prevent further controversies. The sport has been rocked by the clash between Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez at Sepang, for which Rossi was sent to the back of the grid for the Valencia finale. "Over the past days, there have unfortunately been some controversies that have surpassed the limits of a healthy passion and, on occasions, logic itself," the president's statement read.
