CAS rejects Rossi appeal, penalty upheld

– The Court of Arbitration for Sport has rejected Valentino Rossi's request for a stay of execution regarding the penalty he received in Malaysia, meaning he must start this weekend's Valencia finale from the back of the grid.Rossi was handed three penalty points for colliding with Marc Márquez and allied to a point he received earlier in 2015, meant he would have to start the next round of the season from the back.Rossi had appealed to the CAS in order for his penalty to be suspended until 2016, but the organisation confirmed on Thursday that the original decision has been upheld."The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has dismissed Valentino Rossi's request to stay the...
