Parkes to sub for de Angelis in Valencia finale
Australian rider Broc Parkes will stand in for the injured Alex de Angelis at IodaRacing in upcoming the MotoGP season finale at Valencia. IodaRacing regular de Angelis has been in recovery ever since a harrowing crash at Motegi, with Australian Damian Cudlin replacing him at Phillip Island and Sepang. Cudlin's compatriot Parkes, 33, will now take over the ART bike in the final Grand Prix of the season. Twice runner-up in the Supersport World Championship, Parkes contested his debut season in MotoGP in 2014, scoring nine points for Paul Bird Motorsport.
