Ducati test rider Michele Pirro will be back in MotoGP action this weekend at Valencia, making his third wild card appearance of the season for the Italian team. 29-year-old Pirro's two previous outings this year came at Mugello, where he finished eighth, and at Misano, where he qualified a creditable fifth but suffered a technical problem on the grid.
