Pedrosa buoyed by recent form

Dani Pedrosa acknowledged it had been a tumultuous period for the Respol Honda team, but said he was very encouraged by the progress they'd made over the last few weeks. Victory at the Japanese MotoGP at Motegi - Pedrosa's first of the season - was followed up by another triumph at the penultimate round of the year in Malaysia - albeit under difficult circumstances. The 30-year-old has come a long way since being ruled out at the start of the campaign after undergoing surgery for arm pump.
