De Angelis released from hospital

MotoGP rider Alex de Angelis has been released from hospital, just over two weeks after his dramatic crash during practice for the Japanese Grand Prix. De Angelis suffered a head injury, lung contusion and several fractures after an accident during practice for the Motegi event on October 11. The Sammarinese rider stayed in hospital in Japan before being flown to his native San Marino last week. On Wednesday, the 31-year-old was released from hospital to continue his rehabilitation at home.
