Rossi may pull out of Valencia

Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi is unsure if he will bother to participate in the MotoGP title decider in Valencia in two weeks. After being penalised for his crash with Marc Marquez at Sepang this weekend and forced to start from the back of the grid in the next race, Rossi has suggested he may boycott the Valencia race in protest over the ruling. As things currently stand, Rossi is seven points ahead of team-mate Jorge Lorenzo at the top of the standings, but Sunday’s ruling, that sees him start at the back of the grid, will certainly make it almost impossible for him to win a record ninth MotoGP crown unless Lorenzo does not complete the Valencia race.
