MotoGP explains penalty for 'irresponsible' Rossi

– MotoGP Race Director Mike Webb has explained why Valentino Rossi was given three penalty points for his incident with Marc Márquez during the Malaysian Grand Prix.Rossi and Márquez came to blows at Turn 14, having previously battled fiercely for third place at Sepang.Rossi appeared to run Márquez wide in the incident, leading to the outgoing World Champion falling from his bike.Rossi went on to finish third but his sanction means he must start the season finale in Valencia from the back of the grid."The decision is that Race Direction has imposed three penalties points on Valentino Rossi for irresponsible riding that is deliberately causing contact," explained...
