Lorenzo surprised by Rossi's pace

Movistar Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo says he was surprised that teammate Valentino Rossi was able to keep up with him at the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix on Sunday. Lorenzo finished second at Phillip Island; behind Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez and ahead of Ducati Team’s Andrea Iannone, with Rossi in fourth place. “To be honest, I didn’t expect that Andrea and Valentino would be able to stay with us. I also expected Marc to be stronger than me, but in the race I saw that he had some problems in some corners and so when I passed him again I tried to push to the limit and create an advantage, but it wasn’t enough,” he told the Movistar Yamaha website. “In the slow corners I...
