Viales stresses need for calm after stunning sixth

While accepting he had performed admirably in one of the greatest races of modern times, Maverick Viñales stressed the need for calm after a splendid sixth place finish in Phillip Island equalled his best MotoGP result. The 20-year old class rookie also placed inside the top six in his home race at Barcelona but here he was engaged in a race long scrap with Dani Pedrosa and Cal Crutchlow, eventually finishing less than two seconds off the former.
