Pole man McPhee definitely has pace for podium fight

John McPhee felt he was finally able to demonstrated his potential in 2015 as he swept to his debut grand prix pole position in Moto3 qualifying at Phillip Island. In a season that has occasionally lacked a touch of fortune, McPhee will start from the front of the first row after Danny Kent, 0.3s faster in the afternoon session, was controversially penalised six grid positions for slowing in FP3.
